Islais Creek Film Inc.'s Board of Directors are a group of volunteers dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of our urban waterways and exposing new ideas that promote a more sustainable future.






Bill Gollihur – Film Director/ Fundraising Chairperson
Bill is a San Francisco based Filmmaker and Photographer. His clients have included Nike, American Express and Google while his varied filmography includes credits as Producer, Writer, Director, Production Manager and Assistant Director. Bill’s first short film “Broken” (2006) was seen at film festivals worldwide and nominated for multiple awards including best actor and best short film.
Basem Moussa - President
Basem is a small busines owner, filmmaker, and resident philosopher. He has lived in the Islais Creek watershed for the last six years.
Webb Green – Vice President
Webb has lived on Potrero Hill, about a mile from Islais Creek, for over 20 years. He works as an architectural designer with a coast to coast practice. He also does extensive volunteer work in habitat restoration and environmental protection.
JC Rafferty - Treasurer
JC is events-maven-in-chief at Girl Friday Events, producing outstanding events for nonprofit people. In addition to ICF, JC volunteers with the SF Bicycle Coalition, AIDS Walks in San Francisco, LA and New York, and CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, where she presents a workshop on effective event management and fundraising for nonprofits. JC is lives in the Islais Creek Watershed off of Precita Creek.
David Lewis - Secretary
David Lewis is an award-winning filmmaker, journalist and book editor. His film career began in 2002 when he wrote and edited “Under One Roof.” Since then, he has written and directed three features: “Rock Haven,” “Redwoods” (winner of the prestigious Iris Prize in Wales), and “Longhorns.” All of his feature films have been acquired by TLA Releasing for distribution. His movies have played at film festivals all over the world.
